Good Vibes Only Embroidery Pattern

Good Vibes Only. Since I’ve started teaching, Ive tried to adopt this motto into my life. I figure I can’t control how other people act around me and what kind of “vibes” they give off, but I can control the “vibes” I give off.

The easier choice is to be negative. Negativity is contagious and it brings other people down. As a teacher, I am around so many different kinds o people. Some are positive and happy to be around. Others are negative and I’ve learned that its really easy to match their negativity.

I’ve noticed that when I am happy and pleasant with my coworkers, parents, and my 2nd grade class, they are happy and pleasant in response. I’ve also noticed that as I focus on positivity, it is easier to be around negative people. I am able to ignore, in a sense, the negativity and pass along some positivity.

I know I can’t force others to have “good vibes,” but I make an effort to share my “good vibes” and I am happier for it. 🙂

I created this hoop to remind me to be positive and to pass along good vibes to those I come in contact with. I am not perfect at it, but I try. I made this design into a pattern so that others could embroider it for themselves and have this reminder to pass along positivity.

This design is available as both a pattern and kit.

Home Is Where Your Mom Is Embroidery Pattern

Sometimes I feel like giving gifts is extremely difficult. How can you let someone you love know how much you care for them by giving them a gift? Sometimes that task feels impossible. Whenever I feel like no gift could possibly be enough to express what I want it to, I turn to making something with my hands. This way, no one can be mad about their gift because you spent time and energy making them something that you felt would be meaningful! And if they do hate it, at lest they can’t tell you without looking like a jerk! haha

This pattern was something I initially came up with for Mother’s Day. For some reason, giving a gift to my mom feels like an impossible task. Firstly, anything I buy, my mom could buy herself if she really wanted to. And secondly, how can you accurately express your appreciation and love to the woman who gave birth to you, raised you, and continues to support you throughout your life? That task feels overwhelming to me.

This pattern is something I made with my mom in mind. I know she appreciates when I take the time to make her something with my hands, and the message of “Home Is Where Your Mom Is” is a beautiful saying that couldn’t be more true.

Every mom wants to know that her children love her and think of her as being their “home.” I don’t live at home anymore. I now live in Utah where I live with my husband and we are expecting a child of our own. But still, I consider going back to Arizona where my mom lives “going home.”

Grab this pattern, or kit if you need all the materials, and make it for your mom! It could be a Mothers’s Day present, birthday present, Christmas present, or “just because” present. 🙂

Food Pun Embroidery Patterns

I love puns! Don’t we all love them? I mean, they’re punny, cheesy, and they just make you smile.

So… story time! Why did I create these? I originally made the Donut Worry Be Happy hoop just for fun and because who doesn’t love donuts?! This hoop became very popular, very fast. I hand-embroidered so many hoops with this design for so many customers, pretty soon I couldn’t keep up with the demand! So, I decided to turn it into a pattern so others could make this hoop for themselves!

And so the story continues… I wanted to do something more. Because the donut design was such a hit, I wanted to come up with a series of hoops that could go along with this donut pattern. So what did I do?? I did what every girl does when they need help – I called my mom!

My mom really wanted something she could hang in her kitchen as decor, so we came up with the idea of creating a series of food puns – the perfect kitchen decor and a great conversation starter for visitors.

I wanted to be sure that the hoops I created would be perfect for all levels of embroidery artists, beginners and advanced embroiderers alike, so I made to sure design patterns that would be simple, but cute and punny for everyone to enjoy.

On my quest to create simple, cute, and punny hoops, I created my second food pun hoop: the Squeeze the Day pattern. I love this pattern. I especially love embroidering the actual lemon! The texture is my favorite!

The third food pun hoop I created was a challenge to come up with. After consulting with my instagram followers, I decided to create a cherry pun design. The I Cherryish You pattern is also perfect for beginners. I love the cherries in this pattern. The texture is amazing and they are VERY satisfying to stitch!

Each of these pattern are available for purchase as individual patterns, but you can also purchase a bundle of all 3 patterns for a discounted price. YOU’RE WELCOME 🙂

I love seeing what others create using my designs! Tag @threadunraveled on social media and use the hashtag #threadunraveled so I can see what you create!

I have always loved daisies. When I was little, my mom, sisters, and I would frequently watch the movie “You’ve Got Mail” together. Because of that movie, I decided from a young age that daisies are my favorite flower. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you’re missing out and you need to watch “You’ve Got Mail” ASAP.

Because of my love for daisies, I created this Wild Daisies pattern. It was one of my very first patterns I ever made and I immediately fell in love with it. And apparently many of you have fallen in love with it too! This pattern is by far my most popular embroidery pattern.

Perfect for beginners and advanced embroiderers alike, this digital embroidery pattern takes you through everything you need to know to create this embroidery.
