Home Is Where Your Mom Is Embroidery Pattern

Sometimes I feel like giving gifts is extremely difficult. How can you let someone you love know how much you care for them by giving them a gift? Sometimes that task feels impossible. Whenever I feel like no gift could possibly be enough to express what I want it to, I turn to making something with my hands. This way, no one can be mad about their gift because you spent time and energy making them something that you felt would be meaningful! And if they do hate it, at lest they can't tell you without looking like a jerk! haha

This pattern was something I initially came up with for Mother's Day. For some reason, giving a gift to my mom feels like an impossible task. Firstly, anything I buy, my mom could buy herself if she really wanted to. And secondly, how can you accurately express your appreciation and love to the woman who gave birth to you, raised you, and continues to support you throughout your life? That task feels overwhelming to me.

This pattern is something I made with my mom in mind. I know she appreciates when I take the time to make her something with my hands, and the message of "Home Is Where Your Mom Is" is a beautiful saying that couldn't be more true.

Every mom wants to know that her children love her and think of her as being their "home." I don't live at home anymore. I now live in Utah where I live with my husband and we are expecting a child of our own. But still, I consider going back to Arizona where my mom lives "going home."

Grab this pattern, or kit if you need all the materials, and make it for your mom! It could be a Mothers's Day present, birthday present, Christmas present, or "just because" present. :)
