Fabrics

My favorite fabric to embroider on is linen. I absolutely love the look and texture, of this fabric!

I always double up the fabric in my embroidery hoop so that it isn't see--through. this is especially important for lighter fabrics so you don't see the thread showing through on the other side. My favorite fabric to use as a second layer is flannel.
