Transferring an Embroidery Pattern
Share
Embroidering is fun and relaxing, but before you can begin, you need to get the pattern onto your fabric. There are different methods you can use to transfer your embroidery pattern, but I am going to explain one of the simplest ways: TRACING.
The following steps will teach you how to transfer your pattern onto your fabric, or you can skip to the video tutorial.
Begin by placing your pattern face-down onto your fabric and tape it down so that the pattern does not move.
Use a light-table or tape your pattern/fabric to a window and trace your design with a water-soluble marker. If you have an iPad, you can also use the app Trace Table.
